the rationale is to address it properly and not to be roped into leading a pack. The American 'reaction' is not clear enough about correct procedures - it's still on the table, not rejected out of hand.

at bokstudy yesterday , we talk of the diffrent things gb say, and who we must stand to this.. i tell that they are only peopel and have make some misstaks, as we can se , fore exampel in the proclaimers book, well the study leader say, we must shoe loyality to the gb, even iif it later show upp to bee wrong, it is very importat that we follow what they say.. this is a ver difficult area, ofcourse in our religion we can not have 6 million diffretn wuies, but if we follow evry word very carefull, are we then not follow man?.
what about if they say something who take your life, and later change this, who is responsibel, or even worse our kidds, who are resposibel if they die on such polyci, like the transplantaision prohibition, we have fore some time, are we fore exampel personaly responsibel fore our akts, when the day is here, or can we say, we only follow what the gb say.. this is a very tricky qestion who i think about a lot

I agree we should preach Christ (Love) everyday; I suppose even if sometimes we have to use words.
But why would you help enslave humans - " the end is near, we must heed people in Brooklyn who God talks to - they're not always right, but I know they must be the troof - they say so - we will give you the new rules as they transmit them to us " What, are you kidding?
People already know the commandments, and they know that they should share and give - it's a God given gift.
So how do you remind people that God fore-gives - you can be like God and give to them as well - if you need to use words, tell them that God forgives, and repentance is good - people are suprising, they already have new years resolutions.
Keep preaching - just don't be a devil.

i don't know if anyone here listens to dr. joy but i love her show and most of the time agree with her advice.
well, today i grew some balls and decided to call in and ask her what she thought i should do in my current situation (which is probably the closest i will come to seeking professional advice).
i never mentioned the name of the "religious group" in which my husband was involved, but i informed her about some of the things that they believe and how it was affecting my marriage and family.
I just don't get it - w hat is he "convinced" of ? Which bit ?

the dream
i awoke one night from what i considered a nightmare but many of my brothers and sisters considered a dream soon to come true.
I've been trying to put forward alternate rationalism that would I suppose naturally promote an intolerance to the jw lie - I'm pretty sure it has that affect - even if not plainly noticed.
The more that people understand where they used to be (which I think was unhealthy for the soul), the further along the grieving process they are - anger is just one of the stages.
Personally I can be tolerant of most beliefs - i.e. "that's their opinion and perogative" - but in the case of jwism, actively pushing a lie and enslavement into the lives of others is a requirement - and I don't think it's a socially acceptable behaviour.
It may just be my opinion, but there seems to be plenty of life carnage left behind in the wake of the "troof". My uncle and my dad fought the Japanese - I don't see it as much different.

my daughter would be turning 13 tomorrow, if she were still alive.
it's been nearly 5 years since her death, and yet the pain and the sense of incalculable loss is still there.
her birthday is one of the hardest times of the year - one where the hurt really manifests itself - we should have been having a big party, but all we have to remember her by is a hard cold lump of stone with her name on it.
